Cupcake Christmas Tree

Do you need a quick christmas treat? These tiny cupcakes will do!

Ingredients:
- 50 grams self-raising flour
- 50 grams sugar
- 50 grams butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tablespoon milk
- a dash of vanilla extract
- cocoa powder
- red food coloring
- green food coloring
- decoration pearls
- bonbonliners

Method:

1. Make a christmas tree out of bonbonliners. This will give you a good idea of how many cupcakes you'll need from which color.
Start with making the cupcake batter by mixing the self-raising flour, the sugar, the butter, the milk, the egg and some vanilla.

2. Take two extra bowls for the coloring.
For the trunk of the tree will need a small amount of batter and the cocoa powder. The more cocoa powder the darker the trunk.
For the baubles you'll need batter for about 10 tiny cupcakes. Mix this with the red food coloring.
The remaining batter will be the tree. Color this green.

3. Bake the cupcakes for 10 minutes. Keep watching! Let them cool and press a pearl in the red cupcakes.
Place the cupcakes in to the correct order.

Happy Holidays!

Wentelteefjes with chocolate sauce

A wentelteefje is a Dutch treat. It's bread with milk, sugar and cinnamon. The bread is toasted. It's delicious and worth the try!

Ingredients for 4 wentelteefjes:
- 4 old white sandwiches
- 1 small egg
- 12 grams sugar
- Cinnamon
- 1,5 dl milk
- Butter
- chocolate sauce

Method:

1.  Whisk the egg and mix the sugar and cinnamon in the egg. Use a large bowl!

2.  Cut the crusts of the 4 sandwiches and put them in the eggmixture. Turn the sandwiches. All of them should be sodden and all of the eggmixture should be gone!

3. I'm sure you can find a good destination for the crusts :)

4. Melt some butter in a pan and bake the wentelteefjes. They should be brown on both sides like the picture below.

5. Serve the wentelteefjes with some more cinnamon sugar and with optional chocolate sauce!
